For the safety of all, we do require volunteers interested in providing ongoing service to complete a few onboarding credentials. During the profile registration in VolunteerMatters, you will be asked to authorize a background check, provide 3 or 4 references, review and acknowledge the Volunteer Liability and Code of Conduct Waiver, and complete a brief (15 minute) online Child Abuse Prevention Training Course. PLEASE NOTE: It can take upwards of 2 weeks for background checks to return completed and these are required prior to starting ongoing volunteer service. PARKING: Parking for YMCA of Downtown Manchester is available on Mechanic St., to be paid at the meter OR in the Brady Sullivan Parking Garage on Plaza Dr., and can be validated at the Welcome Center for up to 2 hours. Please note, we are unable to accept court-mandated community service hours at this time. Please reach out with any additional questions.
