For the safety of all, we do require volunteers interested in providing ongoing service to complete a few onboarding credentials. During the profile registration in VolunteerMatters, you will be asked to authorize a background check, provide 3 or 4 references, review and acknowledge the Volunteer Liability and Code of Conduct Waiver, and complete a brief (15 minute) online Child Abuse Prevention Training Course. PLEASE NOTE: It can take upwards of 2 weeks for background checks to return completed and these are required prior to starting ongoing volunteer service. Please note, we are unable to accept court-mandated community service hours at this time. Please reach out with any additional questions.
