Following a brief interview with the Volunteer Engagement Partner, there will be additional credentialing requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of all members of our community, and all volunteers will be asked to complete a few important steps before getting started. This includes providing three (3) references, authorizing a background check (covered by the YMCA), and completing a brief 20-minute online training on child abuse prevention.
